What empowers women?  Would you believe pizza and the pill?The advent of take-out pizza and pizza delivery changed women’s lives. Suddenly, working women could have dinner on the table even if they arrived home later than expected. In 1953, Swanson introduced TV dinners building on the “quick freeze” process developed by Clarence Birdseye in the 1920s. As time progressed, take-out and delivery food services unlocked the shackles that chained women to the stove.A decade later, the pill was introduced. Now, women were not only freed from the stove but also from unplanned pregnancy. The sexual revolution ignited by the birth control pill also started a chain reaction of female empowerment. Wome
