Good content. I was also confused when listening as step 4 was missing. Might be a great opportunity to re-do this podcast or replace it with another one since it's a tool that is promoted for "new people."

Loved the podcast! I have only listened to two but I love that they are short and sweet. This last one was affirmation of all the world wind of thoughts that I have in my head. I am on the right path. Thanks a lot! I feel energized.

Great podcast on finding your meaning and purpose and turning it into action. Points resonating most with me are consistently evaluating our purpose and passion and remembering to grow with the seasons. I appreciate Ms. Krawcheck's examples of where she was in life when she made a career shift; it's never too late and you're never too old to walk in purpose, on purpose. Thank you.

Yes, she skipped #4 in the podcast, but she also added it nets out at 6. Proof that even the folks running the site aren't perfect (a good reminder that everyone is human).

Great podcast. I especially think #1 and #2 having Meaning and Purpose are critical in advancing my overall goals as a woman in business.

Reading through people's comments, the 4th step is money -- how well does it pay? :)

"Money" was ranked number 4 when women were polled about what's important to them in accepting a job. From my listen, the 6-7 steps in defining your professional mission are: (1) Identify what you're good at and what you hate to do, (2) Identify what you care about/your passion, (3) Identify how what you're good at and what you're passionate about intersect, (4 - which was skipped in the explanation, but referenced in the summation) It won't be easy, don't give up, (5) Do your research and analysis - look for insights, use trial and error, and have discussions, (6) Be prepared for near-term sacrifices, and (7) Finding your professional mission is an evolution and will change over time - it's a never-ending process, not a one-time activity.

I heard "money" as No. 4 as well.

Great Podcast. Succinct and to the point. I think Money is #4, Can anyone confirm?

Just realized that the title of the podcast indicates there are only 6 steps so I think Sallie just inadvertently skipped from step 3 to 5, but we got all the steps because she ended with 7. Keeping us on our toes!

Great info! I am enjoying the short, concise format of these mini-podcasts. Ditto on Step 4 though. Did anyone ever find out what it is?

Hey there, I'm pleased to be listening to these daily podcasts as a new member, but I have to echo the below comments. More than six month after a couple of people pointed out a problem in this podcast, inquiring minds STILL want to know: what's step 4? Seven steps to finding your professional mission: 1. Think hard about what you're good at and not so good at. 2. Ask yourself what you care about. 3. Ask yourself how what you're good at and what you're passionate about can intersect. 4. ------? 5. It might not be that easy. Experiment. 6. Be prepared for some near-term sacrifices. 7. Finding your mission is a never-ending process. Even if there isn't time to re-record the podcast, can you at least reply?
