Women are often advised to stop apologizing at work under the guise that it undermines credibility. Most Ellevate members agree - 41% of members think saying "sorry" and "I think..." undermines what you're saying and an additional 45% agree if the phrases are used too much. 10% of members rallied against the notion, declaring that people should stop telling women how to speak.
