At Ellevate, we never stop looking for new ways to support working women — we believe that closing the many gender gaps in business (from corporate management to entrepreneurship) will lead to a better, stronger, more equitable world.
After many conversations with professional women, it’s clear to us that a supportive community — people who have your back, open doors, and give you honest feedback — is a big part of what it takes to push forward in a male-dominated world. Women like you want to connect with other smart, ambitious women out there conquering the world, but you’re all so busy! While we all want to meet the right people outside of our normal circles, we also want to get the most out of the time and energy we put into (dare I say it) “networking.”
We hear you: no more dead-end coffee dates.
I’m excited to announce we’ve spent the last year developing a new way for Ellevate members to build meaningful relationships with like-minded women. Women who will encourage and support each other in reaching their goals, who will help each other determine the next steps in their careers, and who will hold each other accountable.
It’s called Ellevate Squads.
Ellevate Squads are small, hand-picked groups of like-minded women at the same stage in their careers. Over our tested twelve-week program, you’ll spend 30 minutes a week video conferencing with these driven, intelligent women.
You may have heard of Mastermind groups; Ellevate Squads follow similar guidelines. It’s the best way we’ve found to make professional development fun, consistent, and inspiring; in less than a lunch break, members get the support and insight they need to get to the next stage of their career.
We’ve tested the Squads program with hundreds of women all across the United States in the last year, and the feedback we’ve received has been overwhelming.
Love getting insight from other professional women dealing with the same challenges. We've all been there but various viewpoints are extremely helpful!
The support I have gained from my squad has been amazing. I also feel like my advice is going a long way with other ladies on my squad, which makes me feel great!
Ready to join a Squad? Sign ups will open on September 14th, and we'll put a reminder in The Morning Boost. If you have any questions in the meantime, you can always reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
