Best for NYC‘18 is bringing together NYC agencies and community-based programs to support business growth while improving job quality in NYC. Join Best for NYC to access a network of services that are good for businesses, for workers, and for NYC.

Who is behind the Best For NYC Campaign?

Best for NYC is run as a collaboration between the nonprofit B Lab and the City of New York. It is part of a movement of other national and global campaigns that are supporting businesses in making positive changes to their business practices.

Does my company need to sponsor Ellevate memberships to be in Best for NYC?

No, any company can join the Best for NYC community. However, if you have sponsored Ellevate Network membership for your employees (or do so before July 20, 2018) you’ll not only be part of the community, but also be recognized as a Best for NYC Changemaker as part of the Best for NYC Challenge.

What’s the Best for NYC Challenge?

The Best for NYC Challenge is an online impact assessment that helps businesses see how they perform on their worker, community, and environmental practices. It is the tool that is offered through the Best for NYC campaign, which supports businesses in making positive changes to their business practices throughout New York City.

What are the benefits of being a Best for NYC Changemaker?

• Access to Community Member benefits including free financial counseling services for your employees and access to subsidized city and community services to grow your business
• Best for NYC Changemaker logo recognition
• Award of Recognition from Best for NYC at the end of the year, including invitation to an event hosted by the Mayor’s Office
• Prominent recognition in Best for NYC’s citywide marketing efforts
