How do you make your smart ideas pop in proposals, pitches, and presentations? In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use audience awareness as a tool to distill complex concepts, eliminate over-crowded slides, guide your audience to what’s most important, and tell stories that make your content engaging and convincing.
This workshop focuses on written messaging and isn’t a graphic design class, but we will talk about how to organize the content on your slides for maximum audience impact.
This is workshop #3 in the Writing for Impact series, but anyone can attend. We’ll start with the ART of audience awareness: the Audience you’re trying to reach, the Response you hope to get, and the right Tone needed to get it. Then, we’ll apply this tool to writing presentation content that will grab and keep your audience’s attention.
Bento-box dinner accommodating a range of dietary preferences and refreshments will be served.
Metro: Metro Center
Parking: There is parking in the building at reduced rates after 5pm
