Think of this evening as book club meets wine club, meets boss get together. Instead of a book, we will be discussing a recent article from the Harvard Business Review.
Mon, Nov 18, 2019 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM ESTSummit to Soul
727 8th Street, SE
Washington, DC 20003
Join us for a fun evening with awesome people to get together, drink some wine, and chat about the latest in business and management. Think of this evening as a book club, meets wine club, meets power networking hour. This quarter, we will discuss the article The Secrets of Successful Female Networkers from the 2019 November-December issue.
WHO SHOULD COME:
This event is open to women and significantly female-identified people who work - that is it!* It doesn't matter if you work for a huge company or you are a solo practitioner/entrepreneur. What we ask is that if you join the conversation it should be in a productive and insightful way but you can also just come and listen!
We were so excited to hear that so many of our colleagues were geeking out over the latest HBR and so we wanted to provide a fun environment to get together, drink some wine and chat! The first HBR night was held in May 2017 and we received so much fantastic feedback that this is now our eighth event and we have expanded to NY.
This quarter, we will be gathering at Summit to Soul. Summit to Soul is a Washington, DC-based athleisure boutique featuring a curated collection of responsibly-sourced athletic apparel and accessories that tell a story and will take you everywhere from the mat to the mountain.
This event will be intentionally intimate in size but we hope that you will reach out to a few folks in your network who might enjoy this type of conversation and ask them to join the fun!
*We use an inclusive definition of “woman” and “female” and we welcome trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people who are significantly female-identified.
