Making sense of where we hope to go and how we want to get there takes time and attention--two resources that are always in short supply. This half-day interactive workshop in New York City is designed to open up space for you to slow down and reflect on the trajectory of your personal, professional and purposeful journey. Through guided interviews, exercises and conversations, we'll draw out the questions on the minds of so many of us as we enter the 2020s:
Am I on the right path?
Do I have the resources I need to travel the next leg of the journey?
What do I really hope for?
What does success mean to me?
Is it time for a course correction?
What approach do I want to take to find my way?
Facilitator and Ellevate member Joan Ball is a professor, researcher and founder of WOMBLab where she works with individuals, teams and organizations to design services to help them navigate uncertainty and change. She is especially interested in the opportunities and challenges we face at points of transition--the inevitable What Now? Moments. Building upon her research on transformative service design, delight and resilience, she is working on a new book: Embracing Flux: Learning to Flourish in Times of Uncertainty and Change.
