**COVID19 STRATEGY: We are still planning to host our event on Tuesday and we also being mindful that the COVID-19 situation in our area is evolving daily, so we also want you to know our strategy around it. First, we and our hosts at Atlas Workbase are closely monitoring the outbreak and are taking extra precautions at our venue to create a safe environment for you and all of our guests. Here is Atlas Workbase's post about their precautions and procedures: https://www.atlasworkbase.com/uncategorized/staying-healthy-at-atlas-workbase/
Second, we ask you, our guests, to also take precautionary steps. We ask you to stay home if you aren't feeling well. While we pride ourselves in hugs and handshakes - we will forgo those manners of greeting this time. Options: A hand on the heart. A "namaste." An bow. An elbow bump. A smile and a nod. AND - please wash your hands!! We'll also have plenty of hand sanitizer available.
Should the situation change, for example, Atlas Workbase must close its site, we will be posting an update on our Facebook, Twitter, and private Ellevate Seattle LinkedIn accounts, and will send an email to all those who have registered.***
ABOUT THE EVENT
#RaiseHerVoice: Untold Stories of Women in the Workplace is a special International Women’s Day initiative focused on the celebration of the incredible women within our local Ellevate community.
Join us to hear some remarkable personal stories of triumph, trial, and adventure from local women in our community. Raise Her Voice is a chance to be amazed by what some women have gone through and conquered. By providing women with a voice, particularly those who don’t always get a chance to tell their story, we’re able to support one another on a whole other level. Through sharing and listening to stories, it is our goal to practice empathy, learn from other women, and understand that, you - we - never stand alone.
Through the Ellevate Raise Her Voice events taking place all over the world, our global community goal is to provide a safe space for empathy to flourish, and similarities and differences to conjoin.
