In this first of our three-part financial planning series, we invite you to get comfortable talking about money! We’ll explore how and where to begin at whatever life stage you’re at. Take credit for what you’ve accomplished thus far and work towards setting some goals to get you to that next level you seek. Initial tools such as budgeting, emergency funds, fixed v. discretionary spending and how your employee benefits fit in will be covered. Additionally, we’ll explore what to look for in an advisor, in a firm, and how different financial professionals get paid. The aim is to build confidence around financial literacy so you can spend your living while working towards your goals.
Follow Up to Part I of Series:
Part II of Series: Financial Planning 101 (April 21)
- Understanding employer benefits, Pre and post-tax planning, risk management and understanding various financial accounts (401k, IRA, Brokerage Accounts, Compounding Interest)
Part III of Series: Understanding Investments & Asset Allocation (June 2)
Speaker: Julieanne Drainville
Facilitated by: Emily Platt, CFP®
Refreshments will be served.
