About Charmaine: I'm a relentless evangelist to help women start living their dreams and work for themselves. I'm a co-founder of Love Your Start — an online education company dedicated to supporting, teaching and inspiring women to start companies. 

I've coached thousands of people to start companies and am a former professor and Director of Design Strategy and Innovation at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Cal Poly, plus several other business incubators. I’ve been crafting educational experiences and facilitating for 15 years — both online and in person (and blended).

I've founded 2 design studios, and three tech start-ups, and have coached thousands to start companies. Spoken nationally and internationally and given hundreds of workshops at CVS Health, Yale, Chiba University, Japan, and the UK to name a few.
