The Coronavirus pandemic is an unprecedented time and has brought up new challenges for each of us. We are all feeling many different emotions that are affecting us in a myriad of ways.
Please join this virtual workshop with your fellow Ellevate members and our host, Manizeh Mirza-Gruber, to practice mind-body skills for stress management and healing. As we begin to explore and become aware of our emotions, we are better able to journey through them.
Together as a community we will participate in exercises to:
- navigate the anxiety of the pandemic with gratitude, grace, and grit
- learn how to re-connect with ourselves and others
- create togetherness whilst we are physically apart
Manizeh Mirza-Gruber is the Founder and Managing Member of Mindful in Practice, a psychiatric private practice. She is a licensed, board-certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a Certified Facilitator in the practice of Mind-Body Medicine Skills with The Center for Mind-Body Medicine, and a Certified Yoga Instructor with the National Association of Certified Yoga Teachers (200 hour level). Manizeh knows the importance of taking care of the body and mind through nutrition, discipline, self-care, and training.
