We all carry unconscious biases and they impact every interaction. Join us for an explorative workshop to raise self- awareness so that we can start to take meaningful action together.

No matter how objective we believe we are, we all have unconscious bias. The difficult thing about unconscious bias is precisely that - it is unconscious. As a result, we often have an inflated (and inaccurate) sense of objectivity, which impacts the way we make decisions.
The good news is that we can mitigate some of the unconscious bias by brining in to the forefront of our consciousness.
The objective of the session is to introduce participants to unconscious bias – how it is formed, why we are all biased and how bias impacts our thinking, decision making and behavior.
During the session, we will explore how we make sense of the world, respond to perceived threat and form patterns of thinking based on previous experiences rather than current realities. We will also consider ways to recognize bias and to mitigate the effects of personal unconscious bias.
Participants will walk away with a deeper insight on unconscious bias and an ability to recognize cognitive biases and how they play out in everyday behaviour.
