Hostage negotiators use a series of skills to resolve conflict peacefully and build trust. Learn how these skills can help improve employee resiliency by increasing effective communication within the workplace. In addition, learn how these skills can be implemented into a wider resiliency game plan and what corporations with existing resiliency/wellness programs are doing right and what they could be doing better.
This webinar will feature police negotiator and founder of Kia Kaha Resiliency LLC Yve Sturman. Yve is a veteran police officer and crisis negotiator/intervention trainer in the National Capital Region. Yve has used the skills extensively over the past fifteen years to build trust and communication between herself and the public she serves and is a bronze medal of valor award winner for her work successfully deescalating an incident with an armed suicidal subject in 2015.
