Negotiation is an essential skill whether we are trying to ask for a raise, make an important decision with our spouse or set the terms of an agreement with a client. Join us for a workshop with Yve Sturman to learn the tools and skills she has found crucial in her roles as a crisis negotiator and law enforcement officer.
The objective of the session is to introduce participants to active listening based negotiation and how it can benefit you both in business and in your personal lives.
During the session, we will introduce you to three specific active listening skills that I use in hostage negotiation that also work well in business negotiation.
Participants will walk away with a greater understanding of how emotion effects decision making and how negotiation skills that acknowledge the role of emotion, make for better negotiation results.
