Workshop: Building Trust at Work with Kim Carpenter (Austin Chapter Co-President)
2 hours
Online • Closed Captioned •
A Harvard Business Review survey reveals 58% of people say they trust strangers more than their own boss. This is truly shocking. We live in a world where cultural trust is at an all time low, but it’s never been more important.
Trust is a critical element of high performing teams as well. It enables individuals to count on each other and it also frees up cognitive capacity to focus on the problem being solved or the critical task at hand.
In this online interactive workshop, we’ll dive into what builds trust and what hinders it. You’ll leave with strategies to bring back to your company or team to build high levels of trust. Imagine being able to be yourself, speak openly and honestly admit when you don’t know the answer, and feel comfortable asking for help. When trust is present, you know that others have your back and your managers and team members encourage you to be your best!
