Nicole Bean is the owner of Pizaros Napoletana Pizzaria in Houston and winner of the 2018 Rising Star award in the International Pizza Expo Caputo Cup. Nicole will be showing us how to make a 2 course Italian dinner featuring Creamy Leek and Mushroom Farfalle and No Bake Lemon "cheesecake" dessert.
This charity event will support Brighter Bites, a nonprofit that delivers fresh fruits and vegetables directly into families’ hands.
Please purchase ingredients prior to the event.
Creamy Leek and Mushroom Farfalle:
1 Leek (large)
1 Pint Baby Portabello mushrooms or crimini
1-2 cloves of garlic
1/2 stick salted butter
1 Pint heavy whipping cream
1/2 lb of farfalle (bow tie) pasta
1 Tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
No Bake Lemon "cheesecake" dessert
3 cups graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup butter
16 oz. cream cheese (will need to be room temperature before we begin)
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 cup milk (2%)
3.4 oz (box) instant lemon pudding
16 oz whipped topping (Cool whip)
optional: 21. oz can blueberry pie filling
suggest 3 (4-6 oz) jars or small 9x10 baking dish
