Rising up the corporate ladder involves hard work and effective communication skills. Successful business leaders use their communication skills to land them where they are today.
But how do they define their goals and communicate those goals to lead their teams to success? How do they communicate to navigate through office politics while managing relationships and forming collaborative alliances across divisions? How do they communicate in a virtual world?
Come join Ellevate for our virtual ongoing series, “Rising Leaders Communication Roundtable”. Each monthly event will revolve around 2 parts –an ask-her-anything style Q&A with a business leader followed by intimate breakout rooms. During the Ask Her Anything portion of the event YOU run the show and it’s time to get those "I've always wondered but never asked..." questions answered. Following the Ask Her Anything, we will gather roundtable-style in smaller groups for honest, personal, and actionable conversations around leadership and communication.
This month's event features Caity Ramey. Caity Ramey is a Managing Director in Charles Schwab’s Advisor Services business. She leverages nearly 20 years in the financial services industry in ways that have very little to do with investment advice or managing wealth, and instead simply connects people to solutions. Caity’s current team works to influence internal employee communication strategies, enable front line teams to serve clients, and ensure those Schwab Professionals are recognized for the incredible work they do every day.
When Caity’s not communicating at work, she’s doing it at home! It’s the name of the game with two teenage sons busy with sports and school, as well as with her role as the VP of Communications for a local non-profit organization called “boys team charity”.
Ask Caity Anything About
- How to create a team vision from a corporate vision
- How to inspire yourself and your team members to achieve.. in corporate America
- How to be vulnerable and transparent
- How good communication skills can help you navigate corporate politics
- And much more!
