Your Path Forward: An Open Discussion on Understanding Loss and Building Resilience
Online • New York

Tue, Mar 16, 2021 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM EDT
Join us for an interactive workshop that helps reassess after suffering a loss - whether it be a loss of a loved one, a job or simply your sense of self.
Tue, Mar 16, 2021 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM EDT
There are many different types of loss; however, most losses are hard to acknowledge or move forward from - no matter how big or small.
This virtual workshop will be a safe space to talk through losses we have experienced over the course of life and learn strategies for moving forward with the aim of building a foundation of resiliency and moving one step closer to accepting a loss. Jennifer Tan will lead our discussion by discussing different loss "types," coping tips, and her own experiences. Please come prepared to break into mini "squads" to share experiences and advice with one another.
This is not an expert talk or a therapy session. Instead, it's an interactive conversation with tips from someone who's experienced and overcome her share of loss. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Categorize their loss type
- Brainstorm how to cope with their loss
- Commit to trying one of the coping strategies
We look forward to seeing you at this safe and engaging event!
