Are you interested in increasing your confidence? Invest in yourself and register as a mentee for DC's virtual mentoring meetup.
Wed, May 19, 2021 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM EDT
Join Ellevate DC for our speed dating-style mentoring event and get advice from our team of curated chapter mentors to help you build your confidence.
This event is a “speed-dating” style experience, in which mentees will have the opportunity to connect with several mentors during the course of the event in short, but effective, meetings.
Mentees are able to show up with questions and thoughts about confidence.
Mentors will bring a wide swath of experiences and insights that will help bring you build your confidence, and find meaningful success.
Roughly one week prior to the event, Mentees will receive a guide via email to help you prepare.

How It'll Work:
Upon joining the Zoom link, Mentees change your Zoom name to include the suffix "TEE" at the beginning of your name. This will help us sort you into pairings more efficiently.
During your 10 minute mentoring sessions, you’ll get a 5-minute and 3-minute and 1-minute warning before your next session will begin. These warnings will appear in green messaging at the top of your screen
Ignore the running countdown clock displayed in your breakout rooms- instead look for the green broadcasting messages that will appear at the top of your screen.
The moving process will seem a bit abrupt, so please work on wrapping up your conversations before the 10 minutes is over so you don’t get cut off
We will be moving you from breakout room to breakout room to meet new Mentors. There is no needto leave your breakout room for any reason.
We’re still innovating this experience, but as for now, we are unable to match you up with someone specific.
In some occasions, you may be in a mentoring session with an additional Mentee or Mentor.
