This week's topic: Are you feeling lonely as a caregiver
Caregiving can be lonely despite being with our loved ones all the time. Loneliness is one of the biggest threats to mental health for caregivers and after a year+ of forced isolation, it may be reaching crisis levels.
Let's come together to talk about loneliness and the impact it's having on your life. Then, let's talk about how you can better connect with yourself and your community.
This event is open to all working parents and caregivers. You are free to join this Zoom meeting however you feel most comfortable - with the cameras on or off.
We only ask that you come ready to create a supportive and interactive experience. You can do this by coming with something to give (insights, experiences) or something to ask (questions, support).
The Working Caregivers Roundtable meets twice monthly to connect with other working parents and caregivers through structured conversations, rotating special guests and topics.
- 1:00 - 1:10: Welcome & Introductions
- 1:10 - 1:40: Facilitated discussion (main room or across breakout rooms)
