Making a powerful impression is just as important online as in person. In this virtual workshop, performer and teacher Sarah McGraw Krushinski will guide us through an enjoyable learning experience.
Wed, May 19, 2021 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM EDT
Everyone has their own idea of what is acceptable (or not) on Zoom and other virtual calls. You may be doing things that are distracting or that simply don’t show you in your best light. To help us get a better handle on how we present ourselves virtually, Ellevate Pittsburgh is bringing in an expert.
Sarah McGraw Krushinski is a musical theater performer, actor, and teacher. She’ll use humorous anecdotes and power stories to help demonstrate the dos and don’ts for leading, running, and participating in Zoom calls. She will help us identify the mistakes we may be making and how to deliver our message more effectively. She’ll also share the #1 impression-killer.
These practical tips can be applied to a variety of calls, including family calls, interviews, education/teaching, business meetings, social calls, and even medical calls. Participants will also be able to share their own stories (if they’d like to) in a safe environment — we can all lead and learn by example. Participants are encouraged to come prepared to share your favorite Zoom disaster or cautionary tale.
