Food for thought:
"The opportunity to co-create at the precipice of our potential is only available when the choice to be authentic outweighs the desire to avoid the risk of judgment.
When we source our confidence by seeking external validation, we will experience insecurity in expressing ourselves openly.
Comfortable Vulnerability is the act of sharing our internal world comfortably, even though it may feel risky.
Once we have constructed a sense of Comfortable Confidence (the ability to trust in one’s inherent sovereignty and organic growth) our opinion is sourced from within. To stay present, when misunderstood, rather than panicking about how we are being perceived and taking their confusion or counterpoint personally, we must switch from sourcing external validation to internal recognition. This switch from outside-in, to inside-out, creates an innovative mindset. We can then apply our innovative mindset towards challenging conversation, because we are not constantly scanning for disapproval, but rather seeking mutual understanding."
