Share personal experiences and explore how to individually and collectively accelerate positive change. Celebrate Women’s Equality Day, the 101st Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, along with updates on the Equal Rights Amendment.

In 1971 Congress designated August 26th as Women's Equality Day. One day is not enough. There has been movement yet to achieve equality remains a significant undertaking. The wage gap continues to exist -- impacting women's economic power and well-being.

History is the foundation for the future. The first — and only — right that the U.S. Constitution specifically affirms equally for women and men is the right to vote. What does the Equal Rights Amendment Mean Today? "The ERA is more relevant and important than ever. By making women fully equal under the law, the U.S. could better address sexual assaults and gender violence." Laura L. Dunn, attorney. With the advent of COVID, millions of women left the workplace due to jobs disappearing, caregiving responsibilities, and health concerns. Without a strong pipeline and supporting policies, the number of women in leadership will fall. During this interactive event you will discover and discuss the ways you can make a difference every day.
