Calm & Connect: Sunday Meditation and Conversation

Meditation is an incredible asset, supporting the health of our mind, body, and spirit. Meditation enables the ability to shift perspectives, to stay grounded and not get caught up in the mental mania so that we can not only survive, but thrive.

Meditation also fosters kindness and compassion, something we cannot get enough of right now. The Dalai Lama, deeply familiar with pain, struggle, and crisis, at a young age, articulates “Love and Kindness are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, we will not survive. Now more than ever, meditation is a huge need to support turbulent times. Meditation enables us to connect more deeply to ourselves and ultimately the world around us.

Meditation reduces stress, combats anxiety and depression, and boosts the immune system (vs. stress which conversely depresses the immune system).

Meditation also creates fertile ground for neural plasticity AND aids in overall contentment.
