Pivot.
The word is bandied about, especially in the light of Covid, and the changes the pandemic has wrought in our lives.
But what does a pivot actually mean and how, by pivoting, we can miss opportunities that arise in times of change? In this conversation with Joan Ball, the author of “Stop, Ask, Explore” and an associate professor of marketing at the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University, will chat about the limitations of the pivot metaphor for describing how best to navigate uncertain transitions and points of inflection.
This is for You if:
- You are considering making a change either professionally or personally and are not sure about "taking the leap"
- You want to learn how to be a better manager and leader in periods of uncertainty
What to expect:
- Moderated discussion with time for Q&A
