The “Global Women’s Initiative: Creating the Ripple Effect” – Womenetics will inspire dialogue surrounding four essential topics impacting women the world over: health & hunger, education & literacy, economic empowerment, and human rights. Attracting women and men working both in the professional and volunteer sectors, the conversation will launch through the authentic, insightful and seasoned voices of speakers and participants. Women instrumental on the international, national and local stage will join Womenetics and Ambassador Melanne Verveer, US Ambassador for Global Women’s Issues, to engage in frank discussions directly related to these key topics, and to empower women to become “…architects for change…” in their own lives and in the lives of others. The program will connect attendees to key policy and decision makers working to advance women internationally. Keynote speaker, the Honorable Melanne Verveer, US Ambassador-at-Large on Global Women’s Issues, will deliver a powerful address encompassing the global status of women, the United States’ efforts to impact the well-being of women world-wide, and the public and private initiatives underway that are aimed at helping women control their own destinies.http://www.womenetics.com/events/global-event/details/19-global-womens-initiative-creating-the-ripple-effect
