Philadelphia Virtual Coffee, Conversations and Connections: How to Actually Reduce Burnout with Dr. Kristen Donnelly
1 hour
Online • Closed Captioned •
Grab a mug of your favorite morning beverage and join the Philadelphia Chapter for conversation and connection. We value diverse and engaging discussions and leave ample time to get to know each other.
This month, we'll be talking about burnout with Dr. Kristen Donnelly, one of The Good Doctors of Abbey Research. She is also an award-winning TEDx speaker, international empathy educator, and researcher.
You can't throw a proverbial stone these days without hitting an article that tells you how to prevent burnout or eliminate stress. The problem is that all of this advice centers on personal responsibility - but what if that's not enough? What if the reason you're exhausted has to do with people born four hundred years ago?
This session will cover the source of cultural exhaustion from a sociohistorical perspective, and also give concrete responses to how to *actually* reduce burnout in your personal life and organization.
We are excited to have you join us. See you there!
