DFW Monthly Meeting and Discussion Event

Join us at our monthly Happy Hour and Discussion!

This month we will discuss what a human workplace looks like. A panel at the 2023 Mobilize Women Summit discussed this topic. We’d like to spend some time discussing what the panel shared as well as our own experiences so we can each develop a vision for what a human workplace could be for each of us and how we could bring that vision to our companies.

At first, talking about what a human workplace looks like may sound like a conversation about diversity, equity, and inclusion, but that conversation expands to quickly include topics like:

  • How does a workplace embrace all roles an employee may have in their life with family, friends, and more
  • Where is work: working from home, co-working spaces, in-office only, hybrid work environments
  • Supporting skillsets and balancing strengths and weaknesses
  • Measurement to identify what's working, what's not working and why

During our meeting, we'll discuss what a human workplace looks like to us personally and then broaden our discussion to explore what it looks like to build a community in our companies and workplaces. We'll be sharing:

  • What our workplaces are like today
  • What is working well; what's not working well
  • What we'd like our workplaces to be
  • How we'd determine success
  • The role of technology - from AI to software and communication tools

In the end, we'd like everyone to leave with a vision of what a human workplace looks like for them personally and ideas for what we could each do to bring the idea of a human workplace to where we work now.

Running late or can't stay until 6:00pm? No problem! Come when you can and stay as long as you are able. Appetizers, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be on hand.

We are hosting these monthly meetings at Serendipity Labs, our new co-working space partners. Appetizers and drinks will be on hand (wine and nonalcoholic assortment).

Serendipity Labs is on the 4th floor of the NTT building. There is plenty of free parking in the visitor spaces of the parking garage to the building.

Our co-host this month: Serendipity Labs
