BIO:
Cindy Perman is a freelance writer, editor and content strategist with a passion for personal finance and career advice. Her work has appeared on CNBC, NBC (“The Today Show”), MSNBC, MSN and PBS, as well as in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Entrepreneur and more. She is also a great storyteller: She wrote the book “New York Curiosities,” about interesting people, places and things from all over the state, and co-hosted the first two seasons of “Drive By History” on PBS. She is co-president of the Northern New Jersey Ellevate chapter and volunteers as a mentor with Step Up. She lives in Maplewood, NJ, with her husband, where she enjoys gardening, yoga, hiking, kayaking, creative projects and petting all the dogs in the neighborhood. (All. Of. Them.)
