This is an excellent opportunity to hear from an inspiring leader on the topic of Women, Population and the Millennium Development goals. Jane Roberts and her organization, 34 Million Friends of the UNFPA, were featured in Chapter 8 of the book Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide by the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn.
