About Deanna Mulligan:
Deanna is one of only a handful of women who head a Fortune 250 company. She joined Guardian in 2008 as Executive Vice President in charge of the company’s Individual Life & Disability business, and was appointed President & COO of Guardian in 2010. She was named CEO in July 2011. Deanna’s background is in strategy consulting and operational management. She holds an MBA degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska.
In 2011, Deanna was recognized in Fortune magazine’s annual ranking of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business and featured in Crain’s New York Business as one of The 50 Most Powerful Women in NY.
About Leslie Barbi:
Leslie is Managing Director & Head of Public Fixed Income at The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America. She also serves as the Head of Fixed Income at RS Investments and as Co-portfolio manager of the RS Strategic Income Fund. Prior to joining Guardian Life, Leslie was a Managing Director of Fixed Income at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she served as a member of the investment strategy group and head of U.S. investment grade corporates, and a portfolio manager and executive vice president of fixed income at PIMCO. Leslie holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and an BA degree from Harvard University.
