This Year’s Topic: “The Lifecycle of a Womenade Grant Application”
At our 2013 Education Meeting, a panel of experts from the foundation community gave us insights into best-practice approaches to evaluating non-profits to decide who to fund. This year – by popular demand! – we are featuring a discussion about our own grant evaluation process. This is your opportunity to learn about the lifecycle of a Womenade grant application from start to finish, and how the Evaluation Committee does the hard work of narrowing the field to the best finalists to present to our members for a final vote in June.
BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! The highlight of the event will be an “Ask the E.D.” panel discussion. Our panel of seasoned executive directors will provide their perspectives on the best (and worst!) questions they field from potential funders. Learn from the source the subtler, but perhaps more important, performance metrics – beyond “number of clients served” – that would better highlight the unique work each organization does.
