HBS Women’s Association of Boston Event:
NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for November 7, 2012 but has been rescheduled for December 13, 2012.
We can learn a lot from studying how visionary entrepreneurs have been able to link need with know-how and people with resources to create new industry segments and new business models that transform how we work, play, and learn. While the focus is often on the visionary, it is important to also look at the catalysts that enable those businesses to flourish. During this session Professor Applegate presents the compelling insights gained from decades of research on how entrepreneurs and the catalysts that support them launch and grow innovative businesses that change the world. While the focus of the research has been on entrepreneurs from around the world, the examples used in this presentation will emphasize the role of women entrepreneurs and women catalysts.Read Professor Applegate’s full Bio.
