Have you ever wondered how you can change the world? How your company can help solve social problems? How to make money while doing good? We’ve got the answer.
The Foundation for Social Change, NYU Stern School of Business, and the United Nations have developed the “Leadership for Social Change” Professional Development Course.
The course is designed to teach business unit leaders how to “turn social responsibility into social action.” Taught by expert faculty of industry practitioners, the Leadership course, takes participants through five modules of changing the way a company does business:
The modules are:
Strategy, innovation, implementation, impact investing and measurement for successful social responsible engagements.
A bonus module features a discussion on the United Nations Millennium Development Goals by renowned consultant, Kristi Ragan of DAI at the UN.
Learn how to:
- Open up new markets using corporate responsibility – drive revenue in developing markets
- Use innovative technology to identify the opportunities
- Develop new strategies for how your core business views corporate giving, responsibility and sustainability
- Learn how to partner with NGOs, non-profits and corporate partners to solve specific problems
- Partner with the UN to help them meet the Millennium Development Goals by 2015
Course participants come away with a ‘tool-kit’ and road map for taking corporate responsibility to the next level by instituting clearly defined goals as part of the core business strategy.
There are two course offerings:
A 4-day program October 11-15
A 2-day program October 25-26
Early registration ends September 7th for 20% discount off tuition.
