Fashion Designer Stephany Greene will share insights on women in the multi-billion dollar fashion industry and the impact of innovators and businesswomen like Mary McFadden. Catherine Nelson of the National Museum of Women in the Arts will also join us.

In Mary McFadden: Goddesses, the National Museum of Women in the Arts presents gowns, clothing ensembles and jewelry by internationally-renowned American fashion designer, businesswoman, and icon Mary McFadden. The exhibition also features historic textiles and jewelry drawn from McFadden’s own collection assembled during her extensive world travels.
The National Museum of Women in the Arts was founded in 1981 and opened in 1987, and is the only museum solely dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women in the visual, performing and literary arts. The museum’s permanent collection features 3,000 works from the 16th century to the present created by more than 800 artists.
