Dear fellow Ellevate members,
Let me start by wishing all of you and your loved ones a very Happy Thanksgiving!
As many of you know, my husband and I are actively involved in helping to support several orphanages in Armenia. It is a cause that is very close to our hearts, and is something that we feel that we MUST do after having spent many weeks with the children who reside in those orphanages.
To further help raise awareness about these orphanages, I have decided to hold the inaugural Trunk Show for the semi-precious stone, pearl, silver and gold-filled jewelry that I design and make myself (yes, I too am still shocked that I can design jewelry and that I find the time to do it J). 100% of profits from this event will be donated to the Terchoonian Home (http://www.terchoonian.com/getinvolved) and to SOAR (Society for Orphaned Armenian Relief, http://www.soar-us.org). A pdf invite is attached, together with several photos of jewelry and photos of us with kids at these orphanages.
The Trunk Show will be held on December 3rd, 7pm-9:30pm, at the Le Pain Quotidien in Rye (30 Purchase Street, Rye, NY 10580, 914-967-1460). There will be plenty of yummy organic food, live jazz music, and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces (I only make ONE of each design – ever) for all tastes and budgets.
For those of you who live in the area, I would love to have you join me to help a great cause. Nothing feels better than giving your loved ones a one-of-a-kind gift for the Holidays AND giving the gift of love and caring to orphaned children!
Also, please help me spread the word and share this email and the invitation with your family, friends and colleagues to help make this event a success and give orphaned children something to be thankful for this Holiday Season. I plan to spend two weeks with kids at the orphanages at the end of December and to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s with them. I will be certain to email you photos of these beautiful children. Their smiles will tell you just how much they thank you!
Thank you all, and may you and your loved ones continue to be blessed with all things that are good in life!
