ACTION DINNER: Films for Life with Medical Aid Films (MAF) co-founder Natalie Greenwold
2 hours & 30 minutes

Every year over 350,000 women will die as a result of pregnancy and childbirth and 8.1 million children will die before their 5th birthday...
...99% of these deaths are in developing countries where there are too few trained physicians. As a result, healthcare is often delivered by people with little or no formal training.
What we take for granted here in London can mean the difference between life and death for millions of women and children elsewhere.
What's the solution?
How can film play a role in saving lives?
Dr Natalie Greenwold is the Co-Founder of Medical Aid Films (MAF) a health education charity. MAF’s films are used to train health workers and educate community women on how to save lives in some of the hardest to reach areas of the world.
Dr Greenwold will be speaking to us over dinner about her journey to starting MAF and the organisation's continuing efforts to use the power of film to create a scalable and effective health education solution across cultural and language barriers.
