Heart disease is not just a man's disease
The 2015 New York City Go Red for Women Luncheon celebrates New York City women joining together to raise awareness and funds to support education and research programs specifically targeted to address heart disease and stroke in women. It is a capstone event dedicated to this important issue and it continues its tradition of excellence as the premier luncheon in the country.
The Luncheon highlights the stories of those who have been fortunate to survive this deadly disease and remembers those mothers, daughters, sisters and friends that weren't aware of their risks. The event also recognizes volunteers that work in New York City to truly make a difference in the lives of women and their loves ones.
The keynote speaker for the 2015 Go Red For Women Luncheon will be Arianna Huffington acclaimed author and speaker and the Mistress of Ceremonies will be Dr. Jennifer Ashton of the Emmy Award-winning series, The Doctors.
The event features many ways to learn about Go Red For Women all while celebrating a year of achievements. There are educational breakouts, wellness room activities, health screenings, and a heart healthy luncheon & program.
With over 1,300 attendees, spanning top representation from the social, medical, corporate and pharmaceutical communities, the New York City Go Red for Women Luncheon is expected to raise over $1,300,000 in 2015 for research and education aimed at fighting heart disease and stroke in women.
It’s time to make a change and speak up about heart disease and stroke because together, we can start a movement and help save lives. Join us at the 2015 Go Red For Women Luncheon!
