The American Heart Association and American Stroke Association Young Professionals Annual Red Ball fundraising event is just around the corner. The Young Professionals consist of energetic, passionate and talented individuals who live and work in the tri-state area. Our mission is to provide a forum to share information about heart disease and stroke (the No.1 and 4 killers in our nation respectively) in a social networking setting. By doing this we hope to educate and emphasize the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent Heart Disease and Stroke.
The Red Ball features a cocktail reception, dancing and a silent auction. It is a fun, social affair that attracts over 300 of New York City’s young leaders from the corporate, medical, philanthropic, entertainment, fashion, social and professional communities. The Red Ball is an opportunity to mix business with pleasure, while raising critically-needed funds to support the Association’s life-saving research, education and community-based initiatives. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to support the Association’s mission of building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
Tickets are are $150 and can be purchased here: AHA YP 2015 Red Ball
The funds raised at this event will support the mission of the American Heart Association by providing vital funds to advance research relating to heart disease and stroke, develop community programs within New York City and raise awareness among men and women about the signs, symptoms and causes of heart disease and stroke.
