Women STEM and Our Role as Agents of Change - A Candid Conversation with Ann Pollina
2 hours
Ann Pollina, is a strong proponent of girls’ education, gender equality, and women’s leadership. She speaks on issues related to the under-representation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) professions. This issue has been identified as a global crisis and has contributed to the unbalanced number of women who are successful in these fields. Related to this topic, Ann will speak specifically about how women and girls learn, how they need to address ideas of social justice, and how women are critical agents of change.
