Since 1993, Women for Women International has helped nearly 420,000 marginalised women in Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Kosovo, Nigeria, Rwanda, and South Sudan. By working directly with women in countries affected by war and conflict, WFW has been able to offer support, tools, and access to life-changing skills for women to move from crisis and poverty to stability and economic self-sufficiency.
The result: stronger women, stronger families, and stronger communities.
Brita will be sharing with us how WFW implements strategic and profound change in war-torn communities through empowering women.
