Next time you’re lying in bed at night running through tomorrow’s to-do list, think about this… It’s not just about eking more time out of your day. In fact, managing energy, not time, is the key to high performance and personal renewal.
That’s the focus of this season’s first Ellevate Book Club book, The Power of Full Engagement,* by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz. Please join us on November 4 for a conversation about the book and the strategies outlined within over wine and hors d’oeuvres.
When: Wednesday, November 4, 2015
Where: Polsinelli PC, 1 E. Washington St., Suite 1200.
Cost: $10 for members; $15 for nonmembers
Parking Tip: The parking garage for 1 E. Washington is accessible from either Jefferson Street or Washington Street, between Central and 1st Street.
* Loehr and Schwartz demonstrate managing energy, not time, is the key to enduring high performance as well as to health, happiness and life balance. The number of hours in a day is fixed, but the quantity and quality of energy available to us is not. Laying out key principles of the authors’ Corporate Athlete Training System, this book is a roadmap to becoming more fully engaged on and off the job, meaning physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused and spiritually aligned.
