Ellevate is thrilled to host Twitter Chats featuring our outstanding Executive Council level members from chapters all over the world.
Michelle Selesky Giuda is senior vice president of Global Corporate Communications for Weber Shandwick, a leading global communications and engagement firm. She oversees global communications strategy for Weber Shandwick, including internal and external communications, driving the firm’s reputation as a global industry leader by telling the “engaging, always.” story and showcasing its award-winning, breakthrough client work, best-in-class talent and expertise, corporate citizenship and thought leadership.
Prior to Weber Shandwick, Giuda was a political communications strategist in Washington, D.C., serving for five years as a lead member of former Speaker Newt Gingrich’s press team, including her role as National Deputy Press Secretary during the Speaker’s 2012 presidential campaign. While in our nation’s capital, Giuda also served as Communications Director of national political organization GOPAC, working to elect and advance the country’s next generation of top state and local leaders. She has appeared on numerous national television and radio shows, and has authored columns for Fox News, POLITICO and The New York Observer.
Giuda received her Master’s Degree in Political Management from George Washington University and earned a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA where she was an NCAA Champion and Team Captain of the UCLA Women’s Gymnastics Team.
Michelle’s leadership, diverse experience in communications and emphasis on telling a story make her the dynamic professional we love to hear from on this Twitter Chat.
We’ll be discussing with Michelle how her life experience led her to her current career, what it’s like working in politics and why she thinks it’s important to invest in women (and more!).
Please tweet your questions in advance with #EllevateYourself and we’ll discuss. See you on Twitter!
