Kristina Chung, Director of Customer Support, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA)
Kristina Chung recently celebrated her fifteenth anniversary at BCBSMA. In her current role, she is the Director, Customer Support, in the Financial Services division. Kristina oversees a team of analysts who aggregate information from across the enterprise to produce the monthly Executive Operating Report, which consists of 370+ metrics (financial, operational, etc) and is distributed to the CEO, COO, the Board of Directors, as well as 70+ executives and senior leaders. Her team also provides analytics (data visualizations) for executives for use in board meetings, and other executive forums. She also leads a team of consultants who provide senior leaders with tactical, cross functional support and leadership on key market segment strategies. In addition, Kristina is the program manager for a pilot leadership training program which consists of 5 – 7 college students.
Lisa Taylor, Sr. Director of Financial Operations and Services, PCG Public Partnership, LLC (PPL)
Lisa Taylor provides operations leadership and strategic direction for PPL’s financial functions and provides oversight to financial operations, tax compliance, and financial planning and analysis. She has sustained a culture of quality and alignment that has enabled PPL to consistently deliver services to customers that balance participant choice with fiscal accountability and compliance. Lisa has developed a strong team of managers who supervise operations in each of PPL’s three financial operations centers located in Massachusetts, Phoenix and Richmond. This team provides high quality, on-time service to over 50 state funded programs, serving 150,000 consumers and providers.
Lisa is a graduate of University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude. She earned the Outstanding Scholar Award and Dean’s List honors for all semesters.
Sandra E. Borders, MSM, PHR Director, Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity, Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Sandra joined the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as Assistant Director of Work/Life and Diversity in May 2001 after holding progressive management positions in the Financial Services Industry. In April 2003, she became Director of the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity, responsible for the development and implementation of programs to support Governor’s mandates of non-discrimination, affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity. In addition, Sandra provides oversight for compliance with State and Federal Laws regarding equal employment opportunities, and affirmative action. In her role as Director, Sandra builds partnerships with the public sector, private sector and non-profit organizations to share best practices. She provides guidance to Executive Department Secretaries, Agency Heads, HR Directors, and Diversity Directors and Officers on Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity and Diversity.
Sandra holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Education from Northeastern University and a Masters of Science in Management from Eastern Nazarene College. In 2011, Sandra was the recipient of the Commonwealth’s highest honor, the Eugene Rooney Jr. Public Service Award. In 2014 she received the Commonwealth’s Equity in Governance Award.
Teresa DiMagno, Executive Director of Career Development Center, Suffolk University.
Teresa DiMagno has practiced in the career services field within higher education for twenty years, as a counselor, instructor, and administrator. She is presently the Executive Director of the Career Development Center at Suffolk University in Boston, and is known as a transformative leader who brings vision, strategy, and change to career services enterprises that seek reinvention in the age of heightened accountability, transparency, and demonstrated outcomes. She has been fortunate to work at a diverse array of institutions, including Ivy League and research universities, and liberal arts, women’s and community colleges located in both urban and rural environments.
Teresa received her MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, her MA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and her BA from Binghamton University in New York.
Kerri Casarano, Market Manager, K Force Finance and Accounting Staffing (MODERATOR).
Kerri Casarano is a Finance and Accounting professional. She is currently employed by Kforce, a professional staffing firm specializing in the placement of Finance and IT professionals in the Boston area. Kerri works with clients to help determine staff augmentation needs to offset demands due to projects, initiatives, and employee gaps. Prior to Kforce, Kerri spent 15 years working for the State of Massachusetts in the affordable housing space as a Finance professional.
