April 12th is Equal Pay Day. Why?
Per Pay-Equity.org, This date symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year.
Equal Pay Day was originated by the National Committee on Pay Equity (NCPE) in 1996 as a public awareness event to illustrate the gap between men's and women's wages.
To bring attention, awareness and actionable measures we can all take to this issue, Ellevate Los Angeles invites you to join us for a FREE tele-call featuring the wisdom and guidance from three special experts to help us all collectively close the gender gap and inspire other women to do the same! We will then carry this conversation on the following week, 04.19, at our Leadership Dinner.
Upon RSVP, you will be provided with the dial-in. There will be Q and A with our experts too!
This call will be recorded so if you can't make it LIVE at 6:00 PM PT, sign up to access the recording.
