Women in Tech Panel

Pittsburgh has redefined itself as a technology hub attracting a spectrum of trailblazing start-ups to global tech corporations. Join us and connect with local women who work in various fields of the notoriously male-dominated tech industry.

A panel of speakers will share their stories, career achievements and challenges. Light refreshments will be served and there will be time for conversation before and after.

There is a $5 fee for non-members and 50% will be donated to Bethlehem Haven.

Tammy Davis

CEO and Chief Relationship Officer, Nexlevel Consulting Services, LLC.

As the CEO and Chief Relationship Officer of Nexlevel Consulting Services, LLC., Mrs. Davis is an Inventive IT Leader with a track record for defining, building and optimizing best in class Application Implementations, Training and Organizational Change Management Operations. For the past 16 years, Davis has performed many roles throughout numerous enterprise resource planning implementations to include Project Manager, Training Lead, Requirements Expert and Business Analyst.

Under Mrs. Davis’s leadership, Nexlevel Consulting Services is considered a highly valued partner in the ERP IT Applications sector supporting all level of Organizational Readiness from Senior Leadership through End User communities within the areas of Training and Change Management. In 2015, Nexlevel Consulting Services received the Class 1 Supplier of the Year Award by the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council (EMSDC).

Raised in New Castle, Delaware, Mrs. Davis earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from George Mason University, a Change Management Practitioner’s Certification from APMG International and a Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.

Anna Lawrence

Director of Product, Branding Brand

Anna currently serves as the Director of Product for Branding Brand, an e-commerce technology company headquartered in the Southside. Prior to Branding Brand, she worked in business development in the defense and intelligence sector in Washington, DC. At Branding Brand, Anna is an advocate for the customer! She works with designers and engineers to build products that help BB's retailer clients create awesome shopping experiences for their customers, including analytics, optimization and content management tools. In her spare time, Anna likes to help out with startups, travel, practice photography, drink wine and buy more books than she could ever hope to read. Anna is heading back to school this fall to get an MBA from Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business.

Cheryl Hayes

Manager of Systems Development & Support, Braskem

Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science in Administrative and Management of Science/Economics from Carnegie Mellon University. She also obtained an MBA from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. Cheryl spent most of her career in IT Applications Management in a variety of industries ranging from manufacturing to consulting to financial services. Since the mid-eighties, Cheryl has served in leadership roles within IT. Cheryl joined Braskem and its legacy companies in 1996. At Braskem, her emphasis is on implementing and maintaining corporate applications. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys traveling, reading and quilting. Cheryl has one child and three granddaughters that are a big part of her life.
