Strong Women, Strong Girls is looking forward to connecting the local and global challenges that girls face with this event. The event will feature a 6pm reception, and a 7pm screening, which will be followed by a brief discussion. The event is MCed by Candy O'Terry, our media ambassador and 2015 Broadcaster of the Year.
“He Named Me Malala” is a beautifully documented story of an extraordinary young woman who courageously opposed the Taliban to advocate for a girl's right to be educated. The evening is an opportunity to gather to honor and celebrate her courage while also supporting the work that fires the dreams and aspirations of the young women and girls that we work with here in Boston.
All tickets are a suggested donation to support Strong Women, Strong Girls. While everyone is able to attend the screening at 7pm for free, I hope you will choose one of our higher level tickets to support our work in the Greater Boston area with over 900 elementary school girls.
If you are not able to attend yourself, please consider purchasing tickets to allow more of our girl alumnae to attend. You can do this on our splash page where regular tickets are available.
