Inspired by the pioneering women in the exhibition "Women, Art and Social Change: The Newcomb Pottery Enterprise," the museum will hold its sixth annual outdoor summer film series. This year's theme is "girl power." All films will be shown at 8:30 p.m. in Brown/Dod Quad. In the event of rain, the screenings will take place at 8 p.m. in McCormick Hall, Room 101.

  • Thursday, July 7: "True Grit" (2010), directed by Joel and Ethan Coen • Thursday, Aug. 4: The \animated feature "Brave" (2012)
