During this 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course, you will learn to:
- Stay in touch with the present moment and be less caught up in negative thought patterns
- Develop more helpful responses to stress
- Develop your patience and persistence
- Use simple meditation techniques which can transform daily life.
We invite you to develop your own meditation practice through weekly homework, which takes 30-45 minutes per day. A course guidebook and audio recordings are provided.
The course is led by Rowanne Mackie and Farah Govani and will be on the following Monday evenings from 6:15 - 8:45pm:
- 20 & 27 February,
- 6, 13, 20 & 27 March,
- 3 & 10 April.
There is also an optional day of practice on Saturday 1 April (10:30am - 4:30pm).
